The Bible is an amazing book! What other book had 32 writers cover 3,600 years of history and take 1,500 years to write? Many of the writers lived hundreds of years apart, had different vocations, lived in entirely different cultures, and never knew the other writers. In spite of these differences each writer affirms and validates every other book in the Bible. This phenomenon testifies a profound truth about the Word of God. Although the Bible had many writers, it had only one author – God. God inspired men to write the Bible. Over the years, critics have tried to discredit the Bible and its authenticity. Amazingly, the Bible needs no defense; it only needs an investigator to discover its validity. It has been discovered that the Bible is correct historically, scientifically, medically, and even, of course, doctrinally.
